I added Monterey with San Simeon and Tucson as well today. I have a lot more photos from those places but...

Transferring from PC to Mac several years ago when Ronald's PC blue screened and we lost everything on the hard drive probably cost me a lot of photos - I don't even want to think about it. Since then when we do use PCs we keep two copies of everything on external drives.

I've been digging around for some of my favorite photos and finding that I can't find them!!! Fortunately some of them are up on kodak.com (used to be ofoto.com), but now I have to pay a membership fee to download them in their original state.  Also Ronald was able to download all the photos from my original photography website and so at least I have them.

But the Mac is so friendly there won't be any photos on a PC around here anyway!

I just finished putting up a couple new slots under Places. My pictures of Mendocino were from the late fall/early winter and were mostly grayish days. Good light for color. We wandered around downtown in between a weekend art class we were taking and found nice little nooks and crannies.

Santa Fe is from about 5 years ago. We loved that town and we ate some awesome Mexican food there. I like to shoot doors, doorways, windows, benches and unusual things sticking out of buildings.

I have started posting some of my photos of San Francisco, CA and will add more as I go along. These first ones are of a bus tour we took a couple summers ago to get to know areas we haven't visited. It was a lot of fun and we had a great hostess who chatted us up with an outrageous sense of humor.

A trip we took to Mazatlan, Mexico and met up with old friends from Port Townsend, WA there. We had a wonderful week together staying their time share and exploring the area. Mostly we were lazy by the pool by afternoon because it was so hot even in April!

See my new posting under Places. We visited this temple a couple winters ago. What a magical place. We wandered all over the area. I will be posting more pictures later.
